Wikipedia shenanigans
Many people are critical of Wikipedia believing that allowing the great unwashed to post and edit entries leads to misinformed, inaccurate or plain self serving content.
Today the BBC reports that someone from Conservative party HQ has been caught editing Titian’s birth date on Wikipedia to support David Cameron’s claim that Titian was 86 as opposed to Gordon Brown’s claim of him being 90.
Put aside the fact that this ridiculous argument exposes how absurd our politicians can be. Does this incident tip the argument against the wisdom of masses in favour of the wisdom of scholars?
