Shall we have a something-less-boring-instead thread?

If you could go to any concert of any artist or band living or dead, who would it be and when?

  3. The list is endless but some definites would be; King Curtis at The Filmore West in ’71, the greatest ever live album in my humble opinion; Dylan at the Manchester Free Trade Hall in ’65 (the infamous ‘Judas’ concert)and the Newport Folk Festival ’65 when he was booed, there’s so many different versions of the events it would be interesting to see what really happened (plus I’d get to see Clarence Ashley, Mississippi John Hurt, Theo Bickel etc); Johnny Cash at San Quentin; the One Love Peace Concert (Peter Tosh and Jacob Miller… plus Bob Marley creating thunder and lightning); Woodstock (but I’d leave the brown acid well alone!); John Coltrane with the Blue Train line-up; and the Clash, before they started playing stadiums but after everyone was gobbing on each other!
